Sopartec is the technology transfer and investment company of the Université Catholique de Louvain (UCL). Sopartec’s mission is to work with the Université Catholique de Administration de la Recherche (ADRE) on promoting the results of research carried out by UCL, the Cliniques universitaires St-Luc and the Institut de Duve (ICP) by creating spin-off companies and negotiating licence agreements.

2010/ XYLOWATT’s biomass technology to help reduce the glass industry’s carbon footprint

At the request of Saint Gobain Emballage (SGE) and the Interprofessional Committee of Champagne Wine (Comité Interprofessionnel du Vin de Champagne, or CIVC), XYLOWATT is deploying its expertise in biomass gasification in order to replace fossil fuels with new and renewable energies.

2010/ MITRA ENERGY & INFRASTRUCTURE and CISSOID cooperate in the design of next generation, high performance power converters for electric vehicles.

2009/ CISSOID Introduces MAGMA

October, 2009 - CISSOID, a leader in high temperature semiconductor solutions, has unveiled MAGMA, a PWM controller that operates reliably over the full temperature range [-55°C to +225°C]. MAGMA targets DC-DC converters and Switching Mode Power Supplies, where it brings maximum efficiency above 90% throughout the whole temperature range.

2009/ CISSOID and Technokey sign distribution agreement

CISSOID, a leader in high temperature semiconductor solutions, and Technokey Company Limited, a distributor of speciality high temperature Electronic Components and IC Component trading, jointly announce they have signed an exclusive distribution agreement for CISSOID products in China and Taiwan.
